A British born Ghanaian, navigating my way through the world. This is a no holding back view on life. It may sound tough but it is free of malice. Not for the squeamish or faint-hearted. If you are easily offended, then look away now!!!

Hi, Is it the wrong time to ask you about Ghana, I ‘m leaving Europe, Belgium!
Fed up with the cold, etc…. I prefer renting something near the sea, have you got any
suggestions…. and euhm, I might be able to link you with some Journalists, Lawyers in return, might… only, I am not one of their ” let’s invite him (me) for X-mas ” type of colleague! Infact the opposite is more like it, but for you might be an other story,
it’s worth giving it a try, as they going to pretty much, follow my every move anyhow!lol!
Hope to hear from you, if you have other suggestions to live and find work in another African Country, let me know please, I want to leave hear after the Weekend, and just see were I end up, or start up, maybe a better way of putting it! English is not my first Language, so excuse me if it’s a little ‘whatever-whatever’, Plus I’m trying to link up with some people, before I leave, to at least make it feel as if I had made some plans made!

Hey,
Just wanted to say, i really love your blog. Its humurous and also very insightful. Im ghanaian but i schooled in the uk. I recently just moved back after university. Reading your blog is very nostalgic, some of your mannerisms and the colloquial terms you use, take me back to my days in london.
Im really glad i stumbled across your blog. I look forward to it each day.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Efia,
I am based in London, with plans of relocating to Ghana within the next 2-3 years. I have been following your blog for a while and you bring so much clarify relating to many of my concerns about making such a huge move and intergrating. I am not Ghanaian, but British Caribbean aka Jamaican and it is interesting the prespective that you bring with regards to the hurdles you have faced in relation to employment etc. It is amazing that you are engaging in being self-employed, I pray that you succeed but you clearly have the drive and determination.
Is it possible to email you privately? as I have so many questions. Likewise, it would be nice to build a connection with someone who has first-hand personal experience and knowledge about moving back home.
I look forward to your response, take care.
Lex from Catford SOUTHEAST LONDON π

Hey Bridget,
My name is Joe Pinzone and I’m casting an international travel show about expats moving abroad. We’d love to film in Ghana and wanted to know if you could help us find expats who have moved there within the last 15 months or have been there for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents their move to a new country and will place the country in fabulous light. The contributors on the show would also receive monetary compensation if they are filmed. If you’d like more information, please give me a call at 212-231-7716 or skype me at joefromnyc. You can also email me at joepinzone@leopardusa.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Afia, I love your blog and I believe u should allow other readers to send in their frustrations with banks to you so you can publish it on a full page. I recently had an encounter with Fidelity bank. I would write the whole episode and email u.
